Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Handle patient scheduling and administrative tasks
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible evening/weekend shifts
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Tennessee BLS/CPR certification required
