Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring sterilization and equipment readiness
- Accurately document patient information and medical records
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with front desk staff
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Flexibility to work evenings (4 PM - 9 PM) and weekends (Sat/Sun)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy proficiency required
