Responsibilities
- Support & Troubleshooting: Assist end-users with hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting printers, networks, and operating systems.
- Ticket Management: Log and manage incoming technical support tickets using our ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, asset tagging, and inventory checks.
- User Assistance: Provide friendly and professional technical guidance to staff members via phone and email.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and run reports on support ticket volumes.
- Onboarding: Assist in the setup of new workstations and peripherals for incoming employees.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows/macOS operating systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Schedule: Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a logical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
