Responsibilities
- Unloading Trucks: Safely unload delivery trucks and transport merchandise to the sales floor.
- Stocking Shelves: Organize products, fill gaps on shelves, and ensure product displays are appealing.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Merchandising: Rotate stock to ensure older items are sold first (FIFO) and maintain visual standards.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the receiving area and back stock organized and clean.
- Customer Assistance: Occasionally assist customers in locating specific items or answering basic questions.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts, typically starting between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and time management.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow supervisor instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for organization and stock rotation.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills.
