Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential areas and designated parks
- Provide feeding, watering, and medication administration as needed
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed client communication logs and visit records
- Ensure all pets are secured with proper leashes and equipment
- Clean up after pets and maintain tidy walking environments
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and first aid
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Certification in pet CPR/first aid preferred
