Responsibilities
- Provide daily walks for dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments in the Reno area.
- Ensure dogs are exercised, socialized, and monitored for safety throughout the duration of the walk.
- Collect and properly dispose of waste in a timely and hygienic manner.
- Administer prescribed medication and follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners.
- Feed pets and provide fresh water as requested by the client.
- Report any health issues, behavioral changes, or accidents to the management team immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience walking dogs or working in the pet care industry is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong passion for animals and a patient, gentle demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and walk on uneven terrain.
- Excellent time management skills and strict punctuality.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
