Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of all breeds and sizes throughout the Detroit metropolitan area.
- Ensure all dogs are safe, exercised, and happy during scheduled walks.
- Collect and dispose of waste immediately after each walk to maintain cleanliness.
- Feed pets according to specific dietary requirements and schedules provided by owners.
- Administer medication or supplements if required and trained.
- Provide photo and text updates to pet owners to keep them informed.
- Ensure the safety and security of the property before and after each visit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dog walking, pet sitting, or veterinary assistance is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Strong passion for animals and the ability to handle dogs of varying temperaments.
- Excellent time management skills and a high degree of punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references.
- Must be located in or willing to travel within the Detroit, MI area.
