Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 dogs per group)
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup) during walks
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations for each dog
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for weather, traffic, and animal behavior
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Current pet first-aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for animal welfare and exceptional customer service
- Availability on weekends and holidays (required)
