Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in designated Orlando neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as directed
- Monitor pets for health issues and report concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed care logs and client communication
- Ensure pets are secured with proper harnesses and leashes
- Adhere to all safety protocols during outdoor activities
- Build positive relationships with pets and their owners
- Assist with basic pet care tasks like waste cleanup
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to handle large breeds
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of canine behavior and basic training
- Background check clearance required
- Availability for weekend and early morning shifts
