- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer payments.
- Greet customers upon entry and exit, providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area.
- Process returns, exchanges, and manage customer loyalty programs.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding loss prevention and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the store.
- Reliable and punctual with a focus on attendance.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
