Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
- Greet customers upon arrival and provide friendly, professional service.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate change.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist with inventory stocking and general store maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
