Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments, ensuring all receipts are accurate and change is correct.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock needs replenishment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
