Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the point of sale (POS).
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with strict attention to accuracy and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked checkout area to ensure efficiency.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering general inquiries regarding store policies or products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong basic math skills and a keen eye for detail to handle cash transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation is required for commuting.
