- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate and secure transactions.
- Greet customers with a warm welcome and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments while adhering to strict cash handling policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and sales floor.
- Assist with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Process returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries with a problem-solving mindset.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during shifts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is required.
