Job Overview:
As a Part-Time Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. You will manage transactions, assist with product inquiries, and help keep our store organized and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems with accuracy and speed to process customer transactions.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments efficiently and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist customers with product locations, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area and store aisles.
- Collaborate with the sales team to restock inventory and ensure product availability.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
