Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system with speed and accuracy to ensure seamless transactions.
- Greet every customer warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining strict accuracy and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and store environment.
- Bag customer purchases efficiently and assist with carrying items to their vehicles when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure shelves are stocked and the store remains well-stocked.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, cashier, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
