Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately to process customer purchases.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries and checkout procedures.
- Handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card payments with strict attention to accuracy.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Collaborate with floor staff to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
