- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Deliver outstanding customer service through greeting, assistance, and problem resolution
- Scan and bag merchandise efficiently while maintaining organized checkout areas
- Execute price checks and handle returns/exchanges per company policy
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock discrepancies to management
- Uphold cleanliness standards throughout checkout zones and customer areas
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic proficiency with technology and point-of-sale systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
