Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with any inquiries regarding products or services.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Bag items efficiently and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
- Stock shelves and assist with inventory management during downtime.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding loss prevention and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable transportation and availability for varying shifts.
