Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and custom frappes, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, including sanitizing workstations, tables, and restrooms.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, and syrups.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is a plus, but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
