Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brew.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee shop environment, including proper sanitization of equipment.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently.
- Restock supplies and ingredients (milk, syrups, cups) to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Clean and maintain the espresso machine and brewing equipment according to safety standards.
- Collaborate with the floor team to manage high-volume rushes during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is a plus but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Strong understanding of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred.
