Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale using our POS system.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed product information and recommendations.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to maintain a professional shopping environment.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments responsibly and balance the register at the end of the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
- Perform basic inventory checks and restock shelves as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and politely with customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- A valid state-issued ID and ability to pass a background check.
