Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and brewed coffee, following standard recipes.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and point-of-sale systems with accuracy and speed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide recommendations to ensure a positive experience.
- Perform cash handling duties, including processing payments and managing petty cash.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Previous barista experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes or moving equipment.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude are essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
