Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and ensure a secure environment.
- Monitor and operate security control rooms, including CCTV systems and alarm panels, to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including access control and visitor management protocols.
- Document and report all incidents, irregularities, and suspicious activities in a clear and timely manner.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance from staff or guests.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Louisiana State Security License (LSI) or ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical duties as required.
- Availability to work flexible evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
