Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) throughout the shift.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff regarding patient status and concerns.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current PCT or CNA certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
