Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report abnormalities to nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing and mobility
- Perform EKGs and collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain clean and organized patient care environments
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams during shift transitions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
