Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including mobility, bathing, and feeding
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and sterile environments
- Collaborate with RNs to implement patient care plans and interventions
- Respond to patient call lights and provide timely support
- Perform EKGs and collect specimens under supervision
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in healthcare program or recent graduate (students welcome!)
- BLS/CPR certification (provided if not certified)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
