Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document health status using EMR systems
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Respond to patient call bells and emergency situations promptly
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and treatment areas
- Safely operate medical equipment and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and empathy abilities
- Availability to work 4-5 evening shifts weekly (typically 7 PM - 7 AM)
