Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to call lights promptly overnight
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Accurately document patient care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff during emergencies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients experiencing nighttime anxiety
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
- Previous overnight or night shift experience strongly preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training provided)
- Exceptional communication and observational skills
- Ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure situations
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts (3rd shift)
