Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and medication administration
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures during evening/weekend hours
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and triage during overnight shifts
- Handle emergency response protocols and urgent patient situations
- Perform lab tests and specimen processing according to protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced setting
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Basic EKG and phlebotomy certification preferred
- Flexibility to work variable evening/weekend schedules
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
