Responsibilities
- Accurately input and verify patient records, billing information, and insurance details into HIPAA-compliant systems
- Perform data reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies with 99.8% accuracy
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive healthcare information
- Process high-volume transactions during overnight shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Utilize specialized data validation protocols to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with remote team members using encrypted communication tools
- Generate daily productivity reports for shift supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in high-volume data entry or healthcare records management
- Proven typing speed of 60+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software
- Ability to maintain focus during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and data security protocols
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting capabilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred
