Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with locating materials and navigating our digital resources.
- Manage circulation desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and renewals.
- Shelve library materials accurately and maintain the organization of the stacks.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist with inquiries regarding library programs and services.
- Operate library equipment, including scanners, printers, and self-checkout kiosks.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in customer service or library settings is a plus.
