Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons in-person and virtually
- Assist with circulation desk operations including check-outs, returns, and renewals
- Shelve library materials and maintain collection organization
- Support library programs and events for all age groups
- Process new acquisitions and withdraw outdated materials
- Operate library systems and assist patrons with digital resources
- Perform routine maintenance of library spaces and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years library or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of Dewey Decimal System or cataloging principles
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Washington State driver's license (if required for branch travel)
