Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define the architectural vision and technical roadmap for the 2026 Initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals and emerging tech trends.
- System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of complex, distributed systems that prioritize security, scalability, and high availability.
- Technology Leadership: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., advanced AI, quantum-ready infrastructures) into the core architecture.
- Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing engineering team, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure zero downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with a strong understanding of AI/ML infrastructure integration.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and make data-driven architectural decisions.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
