Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and equipment
- Lead daily barista operations, including inventory management and quality control
- Mentor and train new team members on coffee techniques and customer service standards
- Develop seasonal drink menus and participate in coffee sourcing decisions
- Uphold exceptional cleanliness and safety standards across all service areas
- Engage customers with product knowledge and personalized recommendations
- Collaborate with management on staff scheduling and operational improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee certification
- Proven leadership ability in fast-paced food service environments
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional customer service skills with ability to handle high-volume service
- Proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification and ServSafe certification preferred
