Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, following standard recipes and quality control standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including the coffee station, dining area, and restrooms.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, processing payments and handling transactions.
- Operate and maintain brewing equipment, ensuring all machines are cleaned and sanitized according to health regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, stocking supplies, and rotating products to ensure freshness.
- Collaborate with the team to create an engaging store atmosphere and support during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with coffee brewing methods (espresso, pour-over) is a plus.
