Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, latte, and cold brew, according to strict quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a memorable visit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including espresso machines, counter areas, and dining spaces.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle cash and card transactions with accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and performing opening and closing procedures.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of our coffee beans, brewing methods, and menu offerings to educate customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and perfect brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs during busy shifts.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
