Responsibilities
- Execute specialty coffee brewing using advanced techniques (espresso, pour-over, cold brew)
- Mentor junior baristas on coffee preparation and customer service excellence
- Develop seasonal drink menus and conduct staff training sessions
- Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and quality control standards
- Engage with discerning clientele through personalized coffee recommendations
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and customer feedback
Qualifications
- 3+ years of specialty coffee experience with advanced brewing certifications
- Proven leadership ability in high-volume service environments
- Expert knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's certification and ServSafe certification preferred
