Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and advanced techniques
- Train and mentor junior baristas in coffee craftsmanship and customer engagement
- Manage inventory ordering, rotation, and quality control for coffee and supplies
- Develop seasonal menus featuring local ingredients and innovative flavor profiles
- Ensure exceptional customer service through personalized interactions and product knowledge
- Maintain a pristine, organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and team development
Qualifications
- 3+ years of specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art and brewing techniques
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume food service environments
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and extraction methods
- Excellent communication skills with multilingual capabilities (English/Spanish preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to operational detail
