Responsibilities
- Execute premium coffee preparations including espresso, pour-overs, and specialty beverages with precision
- Lead daily operations including inventory management, quality control, and team training
- Develop seasonal menus featuring local ingredients and signature brewing methods
- Foster exceptional guest experiences through personalized service and coffee education
- Maintain impeccable hygiene standards and equipment maintenance protocols
- Collaborate with roastery team on bean sourcing and profile development
- Drive sales through upselling techniques and loyalty program engagement
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience with advanced espresso/pour-over techniques
- Proven track record in team leadership and operational excellence
- SQCA/SCA certification or equivalent specialty coffee credentials
- Exceptional knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality standards
- Strong inventory management and cost-control skills
- Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
