Responsibilities
- Execute complex espresso-based beverages and signature drink recipes with precision
- Train and mentor barista staff on beverage techniques and customer engagement
- Manage daily inventory control and quality assurance of coffee products
- Develop seasonal menu concepts using premium local ingredients
- Lead peak-hour operations while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Collaborate with management on staff scheduling and performance optimization
- Implement sustainable practices in coffee sourcing and waste reduction
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee knowledge
- Expert-level latte art and espresso extraction skills
- ServSafe certification or food safety management experience
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume coffee environments
- Deep understanding of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Exceptional customer service with ability to handle high-stress scenarios
- Strong inventory management and cost control abilities
- Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
