Responsibilities
- Execute specialty coffee brewing techniques with precision and artistry
- Train and mentor junior baristas on beverage preparation and customer service
- Develop seasonal menus featuring local ingredients and innovative recipes
- Manage inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure quality control standards
- Foster customer relationships through personalized service and product knowledge
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and team development
- Participate in local coffee events and community outreach programs
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art skills
- Expertise in espresso extraction, brewing methods, and sensory evaluation
- Proven leadership abilities in fast-paced service environments
- Knowledge of coffee sourcing, sustainability practices, and industry trends
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
