Responsibilities
- Master espresso extraction and specialty brewing techniques
- Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee standards
- Develop seasonal beverage menus with premium ingredients
- Manage inventory and ensure quality control
- Foster exceptional customer experiences through personalized service
- Operate POS systems and maintain cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience
- Advanced latte art certification (e.g., SCA Espresso or equivalent)
- Strong inventory management skills
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of coffee sourcing and sustainability practices
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Texas Food Handler certification required
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays
