Responsibilities
- Execute complex coffee brewing techniques (espresso, pour-over, cold brew) with precision
- Train and mentor junior baristas on beverage preparation and service excellence
- Develop seasonal specialty menus using premium, locally-sourced ingredients
- Manage inventory, maintain equipment, and uphold rigorous quality standards
- Deliver personalized customer interactions in a fast-paced upscale setting
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and innovation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee expertise
- Advanced knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Proven leadership ability in high-volume service environments
- Exceptional customer service skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Portfolio of latte art or coffee competition experience a plus
