Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee beverages including espresso, pour-overs, and seasonal creations
- Deliver personalized customer interactions with product knowledge recommendations
- Maintain pristine workspace with meticulous cleaning of equipment and service areas
- Optimize inventory management and restock premium coffee beans and supplies
- Collaborate with team during high-volume service periods while maintaining quality standards
- Develop seasonal drink menus incorporating local ingredients and trends
- Train new baristas on brewing techniques and customer service protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional barista experience with espresso certification
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holiday shifts
- Basic POS system proficiency and cash handling experience
- Portfolio of original beverage creations or latte art skills preferred
- Food Handler's Certificate and Oregon Safe Serve certification
