Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks using espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Train and guide new baristas on drink recipes, equipment operation, and customer service standards
- Manage inventory ordering, stock rotation, and quality control of coffee/supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Deliver personalized customer interactions while upselling seasonal promotions
- Collaborate with management to develop innovative drink menus and events
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional barista experience with espresso certification
- Proven ability to train staff and maintain operational standards
- Exceptional knowledge of coffee origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- TAMSA (Texas Alcohol & Beverage Commission) certification preferred
