Responsibilities
- Execute espresso and specialty coffee beverages with consistent precision and artistry
- Train and mentor new baristas on brewing techniques and customer service excellence
- Manage inventory, ordering, and quality control of coffee beans and supplies
- Develop seasonal drink menus that showcase local ingredients and trends
- Uphold rigorous cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas
- Foster warm, personalized relationships with regular patrons
- Collaborate with management on staff scheduling and operational improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Proven leadership skills in training and team development
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments during peak hours
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred
- Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
