Responsibilities
- Walk & Exercise: Safely walk and exercise dogs of various sizes and breeds according to client schedules.
- Observation: Monitor the dog's behavior and health during the walk, reporting any issues to the owner immediately.
- Hygiene: Clean up after pets and ensure waste is properly disposed of in designated areas.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with pet owners via our app, providing updates and photos.
- Safety: Adhere strictly to leash laws and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both the pet and the public.
- Admin: Complete daily logs and ensure accurate arrival and departure times are recorded.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience with dog walking or pet sitting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to commit to a consistent schedule.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk up to 2 miles and lift up to 50 lbs is essential.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
- Licensure: No specific certification required, but a valid ID is necessary.
