Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and enjoyable dog walks for clients' pets, ensuring they stay on-leash and return home promptly.
- Provide basic pet care including feeding, fresh water, and evening check-ins if required.
- Collect and dispose of pet waste promptly and responsibly to maintain hygiene standards.
- Monitor pet behavior and health during visits, noting any changes or issues to report to the owner.
- Manage a flexible schedule to accommodate varying client needs and peak walking times.
- Keep accurate records of daily visits and any special instructions provided by pet owners.
- Represent NOLA Pet Care Services with a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for dogs and animals, with a calm and patient demeanor.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience with pet first aid is a plus but not required.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality.
- Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and holidays.
