Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure data integrity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy (e.g., ability to use a handheld scanner or computer terminal).
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but we will train qualified candidates.
